Meet the Team

Jo Malone
Chief Executive Officer
I am CEO and founder of VetPartners. From a young age I wanted to be a vet and saw practice at the age of 14 at Minster Vets in my home city of York. I studied veterinary medicine at Glasgow University, qualifying in 1998, and later returned to Minster Vets, where I became a partner in 2009.
I established VetPartners in October 2015 as I wanted a family of practices that would reflect the values we held so dearly at Minster Vets, where respect, collaboration, supporting each other and being dedicated and approachable was at the heart of everything.
I have fostered a culture of warmth and belonging at VetPartners. My passion is caring for pets and their owners, while supporting colleagues across our family of practices and central team.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, hillwalking, running and learning new skills. I own a dog and a cat.
My role is to support all of our teams to achieve their potential and enable them to achieve our aim of being the veterinary group of choice.
